The new support from the WA State Government allows ANDHealth to develop tailored mentoring opportunities to WA digital health companies, covering all aspects of digital health commercialisation, from regulatory requirements and reimbursement to product development and investment.
ANDHealth founder and CEO Bronwyn Le Grice said: “Western Australia has a thriving emerging digital health sector, but we have proved that companies need access to specialised expertise in order to succeed.
“Since 2017, we have engaged with more than 300 digital health companies around Australia. Our unique, not-for-profit, multidisciplinary model has made a significant impact, and we have earned overwhelmingly positive feedback from innovators, entrepreneurs and industry professionals who have attended our programs.
“We are delighted that the Western Australian State Government clearly recognises the need for these companies to access the specialised expertise that only ANDHealth can provide, and we are proud to work alongside the Telethon Kids Institute, supported by the Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation.
“A successful digital health sector will be essential for states to ensure the resilience of their healthcare systems in future.”
ANDHealth’s previous engagement in Western Australia and other states has driven up the number and maturity of companies in those states.
